How we build with intent

Every project in AlignIt starts as an internal friction point: calendar overload, context switches, or repetitive terminal work. We scope the smallest workflow that would remove the pain, sketch the critical path, and only then design the interface layers that clarify what the tool does.

While prototyping, we document constraints, data flows, and the promises we want to keep for users—fast load, offline resilience, and honest privacy defaults. That blueprint guides the engineering process, keeps us from bolting on flashy features, and results in calmer, more predictable software.

Shipping is deliberate. We monitor how each release impacts day-to-day work, capture lessons in a shared playbook, and iterate only when a real workflow demands it. The payoff is a collection of small, reliable tools instead of a showcase of half-finished experiments.
